  • -Stats stopped working, https://jimmiepride.com/sidearmstats...dual;team=away still says 4th quarter
-The schedule doesn't even reflect a win or loss yet
-Jamestown football is much worse than I originally thought
-SW Minnesota is not much better
-Volleyball plays anyone decent, they lose
-Men's Soccer might beat Crown but I can't see them winning another game

I don't think Jamestown was ready for D2

    • Yeah the Jimmies stats page was broken. Made it hard to get a read on what was happening. Not a great look.

Hard to argue with any of that. Stats going down happens.

That football game I watched today = Buzz, your girlfriend

        • Jamestown Men's Soccer
199 out of 203, can the Jimmie's get to 203 and win the STANG ERa award started in '86?

          Jamestown Women's Soccer
212 out of 261, will they score more than 1 goal? Dead last in NSIC

          Jamestown Football
155 out of 162, I suspect the Jimmies will be near 162 after Mankato destroys them

          Jamestown Volleyball
12th out of 16 in NSIC, Jamestown is finding out quick, the different levels to the NSIC and D2

          Makin' D2 proud

            • I hope Jamestown can play St. John's sometime soon. Johnnies vs Jimmies has excellent t shirt potential.

I talked to some Northwestern (IA) NAIA coaches this spring at a softball regional. They were looking for a football game. I told them to contact St John's. They said that they did- and they were willing to go there- but St John's said no.

I’m not sure the field can hold 200+ players from each team!

I lost a lot of respect for St Johns after the St Thomas situation.

Same. They also destroyed a wonderful rivalry in the process.

I hope you lost respect for the other schools too. Most of them were on board with booting them. The Tommies have always had a superiority complex, I refuse to feel any sympathy for them.

Yeah but SJU was king of that hill - it's not like Carleton really stands anything to gain competitively with UST's departure.

I'm guessing everyone got what they wanted, SJU can run the MIAC, UST got to leapfrog the NSIC on the way to DI - everybody wins, in the worst way possible.

(Fun Fact: Duluth has more MIAC titles than three active football programs)

Agree. But St Johns isn’t a whole lot different.

St Mary's has one which is hilarious, mainly because I had no idea they ever had a team. According to Wikipedia the school cut the program in 1955.
