I describe this thread as the junk drawer of D2. You know the one that you go to find a shoelace, an old toothbrush, or some string. Most of it isn't worth saving but every once in a while it comes in handy.Originally posted by WSUWarriorFan View PostI wonder how often people from other conferences come into this thread and are utterly confused by the conversations.

What do you mean, from OTHER conferences? Most people from the NSIC become confused when they enter this- kind of the Phantom Zone from Superman.Originally posted by WSUWarriorFan View PostI wonder how often people from other conferences come into this thread and are utterly confused by the conversations.

I have been to the Jamestown Walmart several times. They had chocolate creme horns half off one time. I bought them out- like a dozen packages. Delicious.Originally posted by SW_Mustang View PostMy new rap name is Slim Jimmy, and I preach about the mean streets of Jamestown.
Once I saw a guy jaywalk and wrote half an album about it.
My hit single is called "We Have a Walmart" or something I don't know. I'm just bored today.

This thread is like a fairy tale. Sometimes, it is Rumpelstiltskin spinning straw into gold. Other times, it is like Sleeping Beauty falling asleep after being pricked by a spindle on a spinning wheel. We just have to wait for the Handsome Prince to wake her up. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. Wait, that is from a different story...........Originally posted by wscsuperfan View Post
It's the Jamestown of threads.

Nice find! Sometimes those small town Walmarts have the deals - I have a few favorites I like to stop at on my road adventures. Kind of like a "mini-destination."Originally posted by laker View Post

Usually stop at the New Ulm Walmart if I need something as I'm passing through on my way to Mankato - it's easier to get in and out of and not as cramped. Sioux Falls has one way on the north side that I like too - though it doesn't count as a "small town" Walmart.

I shop at the New Ulm Walmart often. Nice place. When it first opened you could shoot a cannon down the aisles, no one was there. Not any longer. New Ulm also has a Cashwise on the north end and a HyVee at the south end. Oh, an Aldi close to Walmart. Same in Hutch- Aldi and Walmart and across the street from each other, with Cashwise a little further north.Originally posted by SW_Mustang View Post
