I wonder how often people from other conferences come into this thread and are utterly confused by the conversations.
I describe this thread as the junk drawer of D2. You know the one that you go to find a shoelace, an old toothbrush, or some string. Most of it isn't worth saving but every once in a while it comes in handy.

My new rap name is Slim Jimmy, and I preach about the mean streets of Jamestown.
Once I saw a guy jaywalk and wrote half an album about it.
My hit single is called "We Have a Walmart" or something I don't know. I'm just bored today.
I have been to the Jamestown Walmart several times. They had chocolate creme horns half off one time. I bought them out- like a dozen packages. Delicious.
This thread is like a fairy tale. Sometimes, it is Rumpelstiltskin spinning straw into gold. Other times, it is like Sleeping Beauty falling asleep after being pricked by a spindle on a spinning wheel. We just have to wait for the Handsome Prince to wake her up. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. Wait, that is from a different story...........

Nice find! Sometimes those small town Walmarts have the deals - I have a few favorites I like to stop at on my road adventures. Kind of like a "mini-destination."
Usually stop at the New Ulm Walmart if I need something as I'm passing through on my way to Mankato - it's easier to get in and out of and not as cramped. Sioux Falls has one way on the north side that I like too - though it doesn't count as a "small town" Walmart.

I shop at the New Ulm Walmart often. Nice place. When it first opened you could shoot a cannon down the aisles, no one was there. Not any longer. New Ulm also has a Cashwise on the north end and a HyVee at the south end. Oh, an Aldi close to Walmart. Same in Hutch- Aldi and Walmart and across the street from each other, with Cashwise a little further north.
I agree. Who can't like a thread that's over 200 pages long, started talking about Jamestown membership before they were members, and talks about Minnesota high school hockey?
