Well, the last night of CCHA play is upon us. What we know heading in:

1-5 are undecided
6 is Bemidji
7 is Lake Superior
8 is Ferris
9 is Northern Michigan

I read somewhere that there are 17 different ways 1-5 can play out, something like 216 different tie breaker scenerios that could come into play.

About the only problem I have is Delano getting #2. Warroad had the head to head win over Delano. Mahtomedi had a stronger strength of schedule than Delano. It seems like when it comes to State seeding by the coaches, head to head always seemed to take precident.

Jamestown has a solid Hockey team. I saw them play Waldorf in Albert Lea.

I felt bad for Stillwater last year, no reason to dislike them but everyone in the state was pulling for Moorhead in the title game.

Same with Minot State. Plus, Minot has Pepsi Arena at the MAYSA Complex, that place is pretty sweet. Has to be a draw compared to some rinks club teams play in. I would venture to guess the locker room for the Beavers is on par with the rink, as I would guess the Minotauros of the NAHL have a decent room.
