Oh - yeah, I'll circle that one on the calendar. Sounds like a good time. I've visited the stadium over there before, but just haven't seen a game.

It's nice to see TCO get used for this stuff - I mean, I'm sure one team losing a home game stings, but still.

St. Olaf is the "home team." Not sure how neutral sites go for revenue but I assume the home team gets something extra out of it for taking a game off campus. It will be a large Johnnie crowd im sure.

IMO - part of it is the student experience of going to games on campus too. Not sure how much that matters in the St. Ole world though, and TCO isn't a far drive either.

I've only seen St. Olaf once - they had a pretty good crowd but it was at Carleton, so I'm sure there were more than normal. That's a rivalry I 100% recommend seeing in person.

          • Of note, for Jamestown…volleyball team left Monday for Peru. Not sure of all of the details, but kicking it off international style

I'll assume the country, and not the NAIA school in Nebraska!

Those trips are great opportunities for the athletes. Great for bonding too.

My hope is they voiced their opinion that they shouldn't be allowed to, but if they didn't I will admit that disappoints me.
I never claimed they have absolute authority. I propoerly report they voted yes to Jamestown.

                  they voted yes

had they opposed they could have voted "non" even if they were the only "no" vote.

how do I know ? - how they voted

So voting "yes" is the same as "sitting on their hands." Gotcha.

Donate to SMSU instead of the Mankato hockey, might help!

I've never donated any money to MSU.

Unless we're counting ticket expense, then SMSU still wins.
