Should Jamestown be accepted into the NSIC?

The Frontier Conference commissioner has been vocal about wanting to expand recently. I believe part of it is that they want to get up to 12 football members so they can get a second autobid to the NAIA playoffs, from what I saw. In any case, the Frontier has made it clear that the NSAA schools have a landing spot for 2025 and beyond, and that the geography isn't an issue for them-- it's more of an issue of whether the geography is an issue for the NSAA schools, and whether they want to make frequent trips out to Montana (as well as Arizona and Oregon for the football team) for their games.

That's a heck of an ask to send small schools to Oregon and Arizona. They better beg to get in to the GPAC

Jamestown has shown the others the way. The NSIC’s new standards for admission have been set.

1) Has a desire to at some point be a D2 institution
2) Is a post-secondary institution
3) Has a mall OR WalMart in or near the town (see ya Peacocks! And I now understand why Wayne is looking at MIAA…)
4) Minimum enrollment of 400

Dakota State will be in the NSIC when Wayne leaves to go down south. Mayville and Valley City would be wise to go D3 and join up with the UMAC

Wayne has been gone, they don’t belong in the new NSIC, Dakota State will slide right into their role. Just a matter of having a spot for valley city/mayville.

Wayne is a damm good member of the NSIC and is not leaving anytime soon and hopefully never. If UJ gets in they will slot in just above UMC competitive wise and will add no value to the league's upper echelon.

I agree that Dakota State will slide into that Crookston role after Wayne leaves. Jimmies will be in top tier of all sports immediately, we have a plan like USF did.

USF left the GPAC as the dominate program making a lot of schools happy. Jimmies kicked out of GPAC as an also ran program. Comparing UJ to Sioux Falls is laughable
