Also natural grass field. I assume it's going away but it's sad because grass is better for basically everyone and good looking grass was Blakeslee's thing. Hopefully wherever soccer ends up still uses grass.Comment

Thompson started the Northwest game and played great. I don't think that the Bearcats have lost since. He has gone through some bad reads that resulted in INTs. If he clears that up, he'll be fine. He is a good runner. Watson was leading D2 in yards receiving. You don't replace that. Guyette will be the #1 guy now. Agree on Watson, I’m not sure there is a WR on an NSIC roster that could/would ‘replace’ him. And there are a lot of quality WRs in the conference. His size/speed/hands combo is elite for D2.Comment

Thompson will benefit from getting all the reps, that should help him figure things out. But losing Watson, woof. Gilmore is a helluva athlete, but he's still learning the WR position after being a QB all his life before this. Now's his chance to step up and become the next big play guy.Comment
