Week 0 Games I am looking forward to......... and in order!
1. Minnesota Duluth @ Slippery Rock - Not sure if this is going to answer the question of, 'how good is UMD after Waljasper?" but if they can go into Slippery Rock and do well, if will be a statement. Slippery Rock is a tough place to play and has a good buzz about them for the season.
2. Northern State vs Chadron State - Really odd to me that Chadron performed as well as they did last year, made the playoffs and was slighted by RMAC coaches in the Preseason Polls. D2 was smart enough not to leave them out of the Top 25. This will tell us a TON about both Chadron and Northern State for the year. (unless this ends up being NSU's one-off good or bad for the year)
3. Augustana @ Missouri Western - AU barely survived this game last year...... Based on results after this game, this should have never been a game. But is was. Based on what AU brings back, this shouldn't be a game..... but I have a hunch it will be.
4. Winona State @ St. Thomas - I have been high on the Warriors on a hunch all off season. Time to see if I am correct or just delusional.
5. Bemidji State vs Michigan Tech - Anxious to see if BSU has righted the ship but a tough test to start the year.
6. Wayne State @ Nebraska-Kearney - I want to see the result but only because they may end up with over 85+ points on the scoreboard. Both teams need their Defense to show up.
7. Southwest Minnesota State vs Valley City State - Who doesn't want to see a 1-0 Mustang team?
8-14. Go do your thing.......

Mavericks are not going to Colorado for an exhibition. Expecting lots of rushing yards and total domination in the trenches. Mavs to 1-0 is my prediction.

I'll be rather concerned if the Dragons fall to Northern Michigan at home. I know the QB change means there might be some regression, but I'm kind of surprised the popular pick is a program with three wins from 2023-2025.
