Mines plays Chadron State this weekend and I would not be surprised if Mines loses giving Pueblo the 4th seed. Then it would increase Pueblo's chances of playing a home payoff game.

This will be a fun playoff season for me!

Yes, being the 4 seed does increase chances of a home game because the 4 seed plays...at home.

I was thinking more about later on when they play the other super region. If a lower ranking team gets in then it would be in Pueblo. That happened the year Pueblo won the national title.

I checked with a former Maury guest, and he was A MILLION PERCENT certain that being Number 4 didn't matter. But apparently he was the father after all, so I'll stick with #4 is going absolutely be the host in Round 1.

You should be a Chadron fan every Saturday ... The balance in the RMAC is shifting, soon you will be seeing a new Conference Champion crowned. Not a co championship.

You are forgetting an argument in CWU's favor there too, 1-less loss if they get by APU this weekend. If APU wins this weekend, that changes things as APU would jump CWU and then you'd also have to bring in APU beat WT. Actually, would beating a team that beat WT twice also be something to bring into that room too?

There is so much to argue for both ways, but CWU's canceling the Kingsville game after finding out 2 games (most plausible reason) would need a rented field definitely hurts CWU's case too as that would be another game. I also remember when an undefeated CWU had to go on the road in the first round to WT as they had an FCS game with a team that made the title game that year (nearly won too) that hurt their seeding.

Had high hope for some RMAC teams this year but it certainly looks like the conference overall is down. Who is catching up to Pueblo? Thought Mesa was going to turn into a good rival but we see the dropoff they've endured. The conference needs teams to be improving, looks like the opposite happened this year. :disapointed:
