Seeds 5-7 (road teams) no longer are limited to their region. They will travel the shortest distance to save the NCAA money.

Did you watch the regular season game last year? Look at the stats if not.

They certainly could play much better than they did, it's tough to beat good teams twice in the same year no doubt. Would be a good game though, Mines QB is a stud. Pueblo will have a few injured guys back within the next 3 weeks that have missed nearly most of the season. Have to win out for it to even matter though so we'll see what happens.

They did the same last year. How fast they forget indeed?

    I guess anything could happen.

Yes, but it's a lower priority than reducing flights. If Mines is seeded 2-4 and CSUP is unseeded, they'd likely be paired if no other playoff teams are within 600 miles.

There are still a few potential playoff teams within driving distance. Missouri Western is within 600 miles of Mines, and Fort Hays State and West Texas A&M are within that distance of both.

A lot will depend on Angelo vs Commerce. They can't put Commerce 1 spot ahead of Pueblo due to H2H so they would be in a bind to try and match Mines & Pueblo up in the first round were Commerce to win out. Let's hope they don't figure out how to make it happen.
