I just didn't think he was a candidate for the job or interested in a college job. It's neat to see the publicity nationally from the hire. They probably haven't had that since their jump to D1 or the back-to-back titles.

When CSUP played them 6 years ago they won 41-36, I was there and am not sure where CSUP fans are remembering a blowout, the Sam Houston game was. I think UNC has gotten better since then as well, . UNC would continually be a top 3 team in the RMAC with CSUP and CO Mines and with 27 more scholarships they likely win most years.

I think this is a horrible hire, very little coaching experience (less than two years at a high school if you count the missed games), no recruiting experience, no relationship with the university

Fort Lewis week 1 and he had seven years of training camp there(96-2002, granted he probably wasn't there from his broken leg in 02.
