Chadron @ Northern State: Hanging Chads steal one
Black Hills @ Sioux Falls: USF will be a tough out
WNMU @ Adams: New season, same A-ams
Mankato @ Mesa: Mesa keeps it close... oh, who am I kidding? It's Mankato
Western @ West Texas: 10 years ago, the Buffs win in a romp... times have changed
Central Missouri @ CSUP: Wolves start off hot
ENMU @ Highlands: Game of the Weak contender
SD Mines @ Drake: Of all the FCS teams Mines could face ... Drake is one of them

Ft Lewis @ William Jewell: Stop me if you've heard this one... Ft Lewis isn't what we'd call good
Western Oregon @ CO Mines: Somehow, I don't think last season is sitting well in Golden

Ferris @ Pitt State: Somehow, I'm skeptical that the Gussies can pull off a Week 0 upset...

As for the Chadron game, I see everyone's picked Chadron. They had a great season last year, are are preseason D2.com 21st ranked team. As a diehard Chadron alum, I am just concerned that last year's success was a one-season wonder and will not be sustained. To open up the season on the road at a 7-4 NSIC team, I just don't see Chadron coming away with a win. I pick them to lose, root hard for a win and hope I am wrong.

If Chadron doesn't figure out how to win on 3rd down on both sides, it's gonna be another losing season. It's pretty uncanny.
