I'm afraid that this kind of thing is going to happen at least until New Year's- probably longer.

    The only true non-conference games:

-Bowling Green at USNDPT (exhibition), at Quinnipiac for two, home and home games with Robert Morris, home and home games with Mercyhurst
-Alabama Huntsville at Robert Morris for two
Qunnipiac is on my list for teams I have never seen play in person.

18 game conference schedule, playing each team in a two game series. Playoff format is still up in the air, but it sounds like it will be the second and third weekend of March as the first weekend is being left open of any postponed contests.

Will there be any intersectional non-conference games?

I liked to go to the exhibitions with Canadian teams but that is out this year.

The WCHA was supposed to release their schedule this Friday, October 23rd. But there seems to be a few hang ups and now it most likely won't be released until next week......

So it appears the WCHA will be a 20 game conference schedule. Play your rival in two weekend series, home and home. Play the other eight teams in a weekend series, four of those series at home, four of them on the road. Sounds like only one trip to Alaska will be needed as you will play either Anchorage or Fairbanks on the road, not both. There is room for non-conference games which could be against in-league opponents or possibly the NCHC (have not heard any rumors on what their schedule will be like). The last weekend of league scheduling is being left open in case any series need to be made up.

Sounds like the Big10 will be announcing a 28 game conference schedule that includes a scheduling agreement with Arizona State to even out their schedule with 8 teams. Teams will play the other seven teams in two weekend series, one series at home, one series on the road. All of Arizona State's games will be on the road, but they will be designated the "home" team for one of the series. No out of conference games for the Big10 this year.

The WCHA Women's League has delayed the start of the season as well (all D-I conferences in men's and women's hockey have).
