Four NSIC teams make the regional. UMC is 8 and goes south to play #1 Central Oklahoma. Winona hosts the other sub regional, plays # 7 SCSU while playoff champ #3 Augie plays #6 Mo West

The Griffons lost to Augustana, but beat both Winona and St. Cloud this year.

The NSIC site shows that Winona beat Augie 3-2, but if you go to Live Stats it shows the opposite result. Posting the wrong score has happened too many times this year- they need to double check this.

Evidently Augie won- from their site:

Augie wins and moves to super regional. Congrats Vikings. The NSIC scoreboard is awfully inaccurate at time. This is a shame.

Augie gets a 5-0 lead in game two, Central OK goes ahead 6-5 in the top of the 6th. Augie scores 2 to win in the bottom of the 7th and advances to the CWS.

Was a nail biter. Vikings score 2 runs in bottom of the 7th to earn D2 CWS advancement.

UCSD is also on track to go D1- joining the Big West.

Do not know anything about the rest of teams. Angie had to beat two highly ranked teams WSU and UCO to get where they are. I think this is a special team for the Vikings. Hope they can win it all.
