#3 ranked Vikings top UC-San Diego 8-0 in 5 innings in the 1st game of the NCAA softball championships. they play #2 ranked West Florida tomorrow at 2 PM.

Ashley Mickschl tosses a 1 hitter, Mary Pardo and Shannon Petersen each club a 2 run homer. Nice start for the Vikings, utter domination and an 8 run rule shortened game.

Augustana beats West Florida 4-2 in second round of world series. Ashley Mickschl second complete game in 2 days is a 2 hitter after yesterdays 1 hit effort.

Do you know how many rounds are left in this thing? I kind of wish the GoAugie.com write-ups would be a little clearer on the "Here's when the next game will be played, here's how many games they have left to win before they can win it all, etc." kind of details rather than just the events of the game details.
