NWFanatic ... I didn't want to stir anything on the message board with this question, but since you were there, can I ask you ... when a #4 NW Bearcats team went down to UCO to face their #8 nationally ranked team, was that crowd as unenthusiastic as it appeared on the stream? Man, their fans just seemed like they struggled to let their team know they were there. I understand the students were probably on break, and dear God I hope they were, but despite that, they really came across that they were light years from the cheering that has been coming from the NW Alumni and Maryville community fans that have been showing up the past several weeks. Crazy to think our NW students have been on some kind of break with every NW Bearcat home game up to this point.

Actually there were several obnoxious, drunk and/drinking students(maybe football players) behind the goal near our bench that were yelling at our players and those of us sitting behind them throughout the game. I’m glad NW doesn’t sell beer at games. My wife was leary of even walking by them as we left. The rest of the good sized crowd was quiet compared to our home crowds. Currently UCO is my least favorite MIAA venue.
