Week 8 of the NE10 Football Conference highlights some entertaining Conference games. One or more teams need to get hot so the NE10 Conference can get representation in the D2.com Top 25 Poll. This should be another great week for football for the D2 NE10 Conference.
NE10 GAME TO WATCH
Bentley 17@ AIC 21: Bentley started fast last week versus Pace and put up 27 points in the first half. They have been consistent with their balanced attack, being able to run the ball and throw the ball effectively. AIC’s defense has been porous at times, but their big play ability has kept them in games. AIC has averaged 300 yards of total offense this season. Bentley QB Mark Waid will keep the chains moving through the ground and the air. AIC’s RB Seba Nekhet who averaged 11 yards per carry last week will help lead the ground attack and AIC will pull out a close one.
GAME PREDICTIONS
Saint Anselm 24 @ Assumption 28: Assumption is coming off a tough win over Franklin Pierce. Assumptions' offense has been explosive this season, but their defense has been a little inconsistent this year, giving up over 140 yards per game on the ground and over 24 points per game. Saint Anselm made a big statement last week with a major win over New Haven. Assumption will make more big plays this week and get the win.
Post 7 @ Franklin Pierce 28: Franklin Pierce is a good football team and put up 329 yards last week against Assumption. Post always plays hard but has fallen short this season against their conference peers. Franklin Pierce’s consistent play in all three phases of the game will be the difference.
Southern CT 14 @ Pace 17: Southern CT's 1-6 overall record is deceiving as they have been in a lot of close games this year. The same can be said for Pace, who currently has a 2-5 overall record. This will be a fun game to follow as both teams need a win this week.
