Week 7 of the NE10 Football Conference. New Haven enters the week with a 3-0 Conference record. Assumption is right on their heels eyeing a Conference championship with a 2-0 record in the NE10. Last week was exciting with New Haven dominating Lincoln (CA). Franklin Pierce knocked off Southern CT in a barn burner. This should be another great week for football for the D2 NE10 Conference.
NE10 GAME TO WATCH
AIC 21 @ Southern CT 24: AIC got beat up well last week by an Assumption team that is making a push to win the NE10 Conference again. AIC can push the ball down the field and QB Lukas Kasco was able to pass for 245 yards against a robust Greyhounds defense. Southern CT has played hard every week but has fallen short. Last week they lost to Franklin Pierce with a field goal as time expired. The Owls can chew the clock with a balanced attack on offense. Southern CT will get the much-needed win this week with help from their dynamic WR room.
GAME PREDICTIONS
Saint Anselm’s 17 @ New Haven 35: The Chargers are getting hot at the right time and they plan on staying that way this week against St. Anselm’s. St. Anselm’s beat a very good Bentley team last week and they have no plans to lose this week to the Chargers. The Chargers should be able to win in all three phases (defense, offense, special teams) this week and get the win!
Assumption 28 @ Franklin Pierce 17: The Greyhounds are a dynamic and consistent football team. Franklin Pierce is no slouch as they are coming off a tight win against Southern CT. The Greyhounds will get to 3-0 in the Conference after this week!
Pace 21 @ Bentley 17: Pace was able to pour it on against Post last week with a 38-7 win. Pace is the king of ground and pound as they average almost 200 yards a game on the ground. Pace will pull this one out!
