Background:

:: The defensive line has been great at getting after opposing quarterbacks all season long and the defense was second in the GAC in sacks. The secondary was a bit banged up lately, but has seen the return of some key players; they are very capable of defending a good receiving corps. The run defense is solid but the Tigers did struggle against three of the top four rushing teams in the GAC: Ouachita, Harding and Southeastern Oklahoma.

Keys Summary
:
  1. Defensive stops
  2. Battle in the trenches
  3. Scoring opportunities
