Last year in Weatherford, Southwestern Oklahoma found itself down 24-13 to Southern Arkansas early in the fourth quarter before scoring 14 unanswered points and winning 27-24. These two teams were night and day last year. Southwestern Oklahoma had a defense but struggled offensively, while Southern Arkansas had a prolific offense but struggled defensively. Both teams hope to get things turned around by shoring up their respective weak areas. Both teams are looking for a new quarterback to guide their offenses. Given the turnaround issues for both teams, expect another tight game. Historically the home team in this series has won the past three years; edge goes to the Muleriders.
