Cole rushed for a school-record 245 yards on 27 carries against the Wonder Boys. He surpassed Kenny Fells who rushed for 243 yards on Oct. 19, 1985 against East Central. He opened the game with a carry for 65 yards and he added a career-long 88-yard touchdown run. He has registered back-to-back 100-yard games to lead the conference in rushing yards per game, 118.2.


Pitzer recorded a pair of sacks and an interception as Oklahoma Baptist earned its first NCAA win, a 56-28 home victory against Arkansas-Monticello. He returned the first-quarter interception 25 yards. Pitzer finished the game with seven total tackles, one off the team high. The Bison ended the game with four sacks, a season high.


Carlos scored six of the Savage Storm's eight points in a shutout win against Southwestern Oklahoma State as he converted on field goals of 24 and 30 yards. As the punter, he pinned SWOSU inside the 10 three times, twice of those finished inside the 5-yard line. He averaged 42.2 yards on his five punts with a long of 57 yards.
