- Rahmann Lee of Glenville State rushed for an MEC record 412 yards last week against Wesleyan. For the performance, he earned MEC player of week and D2Football.com offensive player of the week honors.
- The MEC also brought home defensive honors in D2Football.com's weekly awards. Urbana linebacker Kevin Chapple earned the award for his performance in the Blue Knight's' win over West Virginia State.
- Glenville posted an astonishing 846 yards of total offense in one game
- Wesleyan bounced back from a week 1 shutout to post 48 points in week 2...but still lost
- NDC backed up their 44 point performance in week 1 with 42 in week 2
- Concord has yet to break 30 points in a game
- Glenville State might be this year's Concord. The Pioneers lead the league in scoring, total offense, rushing offense and passing offense
