1.LIU-Post (9-0)2. California (8-0)3. Shepherd (8-0) Shepherd kept their undefeated season going with a win at West Liberty (3-6). The Rams had only 65 rushing yards on 35 carries, but did post 331 passing yards. Shepherd will host the game of the year in the MEC when 9-0 Fairmont State visits Ram Stadium this coming Saturday. The Rams are probably a sure bet for the post season already, its just a matter of where they will be ranked after all the games are played.

4. Fairmont State (9-0) 5. IUP (7-1) Much like their rivals from Cal, IUP wasted no time in their road trip to Erie. The Crimson Hawks scored touchdowns on their first six drives and built a 42-3 lead by halftime. IUP closes out the PSAC West schedule with Mercyhurst next week, then host Bloomsburg in the regular season finale, if they are not in the championship game. IUP will be heavily favored in both games.

6. Assumption (8-1) Assumption overcame a sluggish first half to score 24 unanswered in the second and defeat Stonehill 30-6. Assumption faces American International next week and then will face LIU-Post for the second time this year in the NE10 Championship. Post delivered Assumption their only loss, 19-18 back in week five.

7. Edinboro (8-1) For the fifth time this year, Edinboro pulled out a fourth quarter comeback to win in the waning minutes, this time over Seton Hill. Jake Sisson tossed five TDs, upping his season total to 37. The crucial battle with California is next week. The Scots are scheduled to face OWP anchor Cheyney in week 11, if they are not in the PSAC Championship. The current NCAA rankings have Assumption ahead of Edinboro, but the OWP was closer last week. I think Boro has a little more of advantage in OWP this week. The NCAA probably will not move them ahead of Assumption, but I think they should consider it. The Fighting Scots could be in trouble from a playoff perspective if they cannot beat Cal. Head to head losses to Cal and IUP could keep them out of the top 7.

8. Notre Dame College (7-2) NDC lost at Fairmont State on Thursday, but they had opportunities. They were just a play away from picking up a huge win on the road. The loss definitely hurts their chances since there are two teams ahead of them in the rankings that have a head to head win.

9. Winston-Salem State (7-2) WSSU won their sixth in a row on Saturday and are now a game away from another undefeated CIAA South division championship. The way things are shaping up right now, it is likely that only one CIAA team will make the playoffs and it will likely be the winner of the championship game in two weeks.

10. Bowie State (6-2) The Bulldogs won their game against Lincoln on Saturday and got an assist from ECSU, who knocked off Virginia Union. That is significant because VUU was the only north division team to defeat Bowie State. The Bulldogs host ECSU next Saturday.

Unranked

Virginia State (7-2) I gave Bowie State the nod in 10th because they beat VSU head to head. The Trojans are at rival Virginia Union next Saturday.
