It is here the 2nd Annual SIAC Championship Game. This year it pairs two unlikely characters, I am sure the fans of Tuskegee University and Fort Valley State University would adamantly disagree. This year has been a turbulent year in the SIAC. No sport writer predicted FVSU would be in the Championship game yet alone in the playoffs. With Miles out of the Championship game, their chances diminish but are not totally eliminated from the playoffs. The issue I am concerned about, is if two teams from the SIAC make the playoffs, will they play each other in the first round. It would be in my humble opinion an orchestrated effort to eliminate the conference chances in moving two teams to the second round. This is the first time in years the GSC has been this weak as a conference, which should have increased the SIAC and SAC chances of making it out of the first round in the playoffs. With Miles finished with their play for the year and FVSU in the Conference game against a team not going to the playoffs, both should make the playoffs as they are in solid positions in the current Regional Rankings (#2 and #5 respectively). It would be the first time two SIAC teams would make the playoffs. To the committee please do not make the two SIAC Teams play each other in the first round, if this happens then the conspiracy theory would be validated.
