Thursday Night (in the order of start times)
Bowie State @
Johnson C. Smith @ Wingate (South Atlantic)

Livingstone
Pikeville played its first game of the season and lost in overtime to a team who was playing its inaugural game ever. EVER. It was a NAIA team too. Pikeville loves to run as evidenced by gaining 280 yards on the ground last week. Pikeville is also susceptible to the pass. This should be a game that Livingstone should be able to take advantage of. The question will be whether the Blue Bears will have chemistry problems to start the game, and if so, will Pikeville make them pay. This is the type of trap game that the Blue Bears could very well lose. A lot of unknowns, and I think it will be close.

The defending Southern Division Champ Broncos are traveling to Pennsylvania to take on the new look Lions. I do expect the Lions to be able to move the ball against FSU and score too. I also expect the Stevie Green-Donshel Jetton express to run all over the Lions.
