UIU notches another win today 91-87 over Missouri S&T...game wasn't that close most of the game, but S&T forced quite a few turnovers the last 5 minutes and converted on their end including a big 4 point play to make this one a little dicey for the last minute of play. Chris Olson the xfer from Moorhead continues to impress and put up 22 today. Blaue and Williams put up 16 and the xfer from Brown Kyle Haber added 13. Smoldt had an off night only tallying 7. 17 3pters on the night - 50 of them in the last 3 games all of which have been wins. Okonkwo did not play today due to injury he suffered last evening.
Time for conference season now - have seen enough spark to make me encouraged about UIU this year. They do need to handle pressure a bit better - some very, very silly turn overs in both of the last two games....about bit them today, but nice couple of wins in Missouri heading into conference play!
