Would be a good hire. Chico is a much better D2 job than PSU is a D-1 job. See that crowd in the Chico pictures? It will be half that at PSU, maybe even less. They average about 550 fans per game in a junior high gym ... but the lure of D-1 is there. The PSU A.D. (whom I know) has a remote Chico connection. Her husband, Tim Cleary, is the Pacific U. (D3) head hoop coach and he played college hoops for Chico.
