Big 21-point win for WOU over CWU tonight, I honestly didn't see this coming a mile away. Watched it for awhile, but my computer was way too slow, the action would stop. Nevertheless, a great victory for Western. Two things I noticed: Excellent WOU defense (yes, Hunter got his points, of course, but struggled shooting ... 6 of 19/2 of 10 from 3-point), holding CWU to some low shooting percentages from the field and 3-point line; and WOU shooting better from the 3-point line. Great night for Omlid (18/11/4 blocks/2 steals/4 assists); Faruz-Bey 22 points/8 rebounds; and Trammell a big 21 off the bench (5 of 7 from the 3-point line).
Perhaps I wasn't patient enough on this team ... actually, I know I wasn't. :doh:
