I always wish Pitt and Moso well because I grew up just as close to those schools as I was to NSU. And I try and remain respectful to most people it's just how. I was raised. I guess it's something we differ on because you always talk trash It despite that difference we have something in common you know. Both our teams lost today. But mine was supposed too. Was yours? Sad thing is I admire coach Higgins. I wanted him to be our head coach back when he left the second time in late 2000s. I don't like rooting against him. But if it makes you respond this fast to the poster whose team is the worst on the day you suck it up and loose to mowest instead of worrying about the gorilla in the room you have to deal with next week, then I will gladly root for Pitt. No pressure next week it's just your whole season, conf championship, and playoff hopes on the line. Have fun

Spare the humble Mumbo jumbo…. This ain’t real life. Pressure is a privilege. I wouldn’t expect you to understand.

Nice trying to dilute the argument by negating the message board that you spend so much time posting on. And it seems the pressure was to much for the mud dobbers.

I think the true frosh RBs both teams used late in the game both have real potential.

I don't mean to cut NSU down. I just wish they would go to a weaker conference or back to naia where they could compete. The rest of the conference is just on a different level financially.

Get above .500 then we can talk. Hell, win 2 games and then talk. Better yet. Just give me three touchdowns on anyone but Lincoln. Dilute that.

I can't lie to you predatory I wasn't too happy with that statement earlier but I took it as middle of the game kind of stuff. Miaa is a murders row with no relief to be sure. I went and watched an NAIA team play on Labor Day ( Kansas weslynn) we would destroy them that is not even where we're at anymore. We would be very competitive in the GAC for sure but that's not in the cards right now. And kicking us out of the conference isn't going to make it any better this problem is still going to exist. It's the same one you and I have been talking about for almost a decade. If you don't take care of the teams on the bottom they won't stick around and eventually there's going to be nobody left. Kick us out somebody else is going to suffer and be down at the bottom. As long as every team is playing every other team in this conference every single year the trend is the teams are going to be near 500 with maybe one maybe two being playoff caliber. Right now if pitt loses two or Central or emporia lose another one the MIAA may be in real trouble when it comes to the playoffs just getting in . I think the quarterbacks that were using are gun shy or have been hit too many times because they just played like they were being abused and they really weren't today. The line did fine today. That guy we put in at the end at qb had a confidence and calm nature that deserves some snaps . Can't Even find a name on that number 11 playing running back at the end. We are still just so young esp on offense. There are only three juniors on the 24th deep offense depth chart. There are a few more on the defense but it's still majority sophomores and below. Pitt deserve to win the game. From the punters markmanship alone. I just hate the fact that we lost by that much

But you're still not addressing it you lost jljust like us. And it was all right in front of you. A perfect season conference championship the playoffs with a home seed. And they crumbled. And the best part for today you're just the same as I am, a fan of a team that lost. But what did I lose....we played respectable to the number 3 team in the country. You just blew your season to mo west

There is no legitimate reason your trash team should remain in the league. You have done nothing but bring down our SOS. Keeping a team like yours in the conference has ZERO benefits. Period.

But here you are wasting your time trying to prove your point to such a worthless team instead of dealing with the fact that might end up the same as we will out of the playoffs . With another team holding the miaa conference championship. All that work that they put in for the last 4 years of slowly building your program will have been wasted. And you can slip back down to four and seven like you were four or five years ago praying that you're playing northeastern this week so you can win a game. Praying Lincoln it doesn't have a full schedule so you can sneak in that one little win. And remember if everybody plays each other the strength of schedule is.500 but if you lose again it won't matter what your SOS

Yeah. I get your point. If NSU could schedule a couple of ooc games they could win or a money game, it might help.them improve a little bit, and encourage donations, but without massive donation increases, they will never be much closer to competing than they are now. I have no idea how to make that happen outside of playing easier competition so they can win. (I wonder how UNK did it?)

I don't want to.kick them out. I want them to leave on their own. I believe it is the best move they could make. Look at Truman. They aren't Ferris by.any means, but are definitely fielding more talented nd competitive teams than they did in the MIAA.

Who knows what's going to happen next couple years now that West Georgia has decided to go up to fcs. That's going to make some moves in the Gulf South. Which could affect the eastern half of the GAC. And who knows maybe they are looking to expand or the Oklahoma schools go off and form their own conference because I'm pretty sure they won't want to add Mississippi schools. And we would leave to go play other oklahoma schools be foolish not too oncost savings alone . And I had three separate discussions about it with some alumni at the game today. But we was in trouble the moment the MIAA lost Truman Southwest Lincoln the first time and we went to The silo schedule. There is no doubt that we don't get the same alumni support and atnsu that the Missouri and Kansas schools do. So much of that kind of money is sucked up by OU and OSU. I still believe in what are oach is doing. Covid really put plug on his plans he's had to basically rebuild his roster twice. And you can the culture change. They never rolled over today and refused to get shut out . But we will see. Hey this kind of criticism would count the moment Lincoln left because as long as I've been associated with this message board the Mia is always talking about the bottom end and getting rid of them. In the end most of them just leave and go off and do better in other conferences. Right now the problem with the Miaa does not lie with NSU

At least the silo appears to be over. That was such a terrible thing for the conference.

I agree there are lots.of ways the landscape could change with conferences like the glvc growing and others like the nsic, gliac, lsc, and gsc shrinking a lot of possibilities are out there.

But one of the best things we could do is a scheduling alliance with glvc. It would strengthen ooc for our playoffteams like Pitt and ucm

I know it is a smart move, but hate the idea on principle because it just becomes a bigger silo.
