WT really needs to have a stout booster "club" that works on its own, autonomously. A group of people that supports athletics at WT regardless of who the coach is, who collectively decide what the group is and isn't going to help with financially. There should be a high entry fee to the club so that the member is invested and not apt to leave - maybe $10,000, plus minimum annual contributions of at least several $ thousand. If we could get a couple hundred members together, we'd have something.

Everyone looks to WT to run everything, and that's never going to work. The Matador Club works independently of Tech athletics; the Posse works independently of Oklahoma State athletics. That's the only way these deals work. We need a leader or two to step up and get this started, completely independent of the university.
