Heard yesterday that this is what has been approved by the AD's for next year: 3 divisions or Pods

Everyone will play each other, Division/Pods will play a home and away. Will have to wait for official word from the conference on this, but if it holds the West Division is brutal.

    North Division:
    Ark - FT Smith
    Ok Christian
    Cameron
    Midwestern St
    TX A&M Commerce
    Texas Woman's (Women)
    Dallas Baptist (Men)

    South Division:
    TX A&M Kingsville
    TX A&M International
    St Mary's
    St Edwards
    UT Tyler
    Tarleton State

    West Division:
    West Texas A&M
    Eastern NM
    Western NM
    UTPB
    Angelo State
    Lubbock Christian

Whoever wins the West division will have run the gauntlet. 5 of the West teams, WT, Angelo, LCU, UTPB, and Eastern, would all be in the top 9 or 10 of the entire LSC.

          UT Tyler seems misplaced.

You could swap it with MSU in the north

That was my first thought, especially given our rivalry. However, MSU-Oklahoma is probably better suited for the North.

                Re: Lone Star/Heartland Merger

If I lived in Stephenville or DFW, I would not be happy our South alignment.

However, from where I sit, every road game (except Tyler) is closer than a roadtrip to the Stephenville.

Any idea if this is for all sports or just non football?

Check your, or our, football schedule for next year.
                    That will answer your question.

Looks like the information provided to me was correct!

I hear Tarleton is still fighting for a different solution.

Home and home in each pod then rotating games in each of the others? If so that western division looks real goid for travel with the exception of WNM.
