I will give you the benefit of the doubt, as I would like to do. People make mistakes, whether by word or keyboard.
Personally, I see these guys as young, immature, and usually stupid kids with way too much attention. They watch TV and see showboats, and they mindlessly mimic it. Winborn is known on the team as "Hollywood", and there might be some pressure to live up to the hype. Taking a bunch of 18-22-year old college students with the most freedom they've ever experienced (going from tight school structure and at least some parental involvement to keeping their own schedule and being supervised by a tiny staff responsible for 80+ kids is a hell of a transition) and expecting them to be as mature and perspective-laden as we are is unreasonable. They will continue to make mistakes; I just hope those mistakes are relatively innocuous and character-building.
