MESSAGE NUMBER ONE: Hey Jim, I apologize if I upset you concerning the "sailor boy" statement. I'm an old Marine and as you know, older Marines refer to Navy guys with all sorts of nicknames: Swaby, Squid, boat drivers, etc. And you old sailors refers to us as Jarheads, Gyrenes, Idiots, etc. You have no idea how much respect I have for anyone who served in the Navy. I'm a Vietnam combat veteran and Corpsman are my heros. I have a Purple Heart, and the first one to patch me up was a Corpsman. Plus my nephew just returned from overseas; he's a member of SEAL Team 7. I guess I can tell you that even though he wouldn't even admit to being a SEAL. I'm going to shorten this and send the rest in another message so I can get it all in. This only takes 1,000 words.
