The streak is snapped, and at one of the most surprising times that I could think of. Minnesota-Duluth lost their first NSIC football game since rejoining the conference in 2008, but that wasn't the only upset around the conference on a Saturday filled with them.

--Upper Iowa's Tony Leggett recovered a fumble and returned it 26 yards for a touchdown on the game's first play from scrimmage.

--Jared Russo led the Golden Bears to a victory in his first career start throwing for 208 yards and three touchdowns
--Sam Campbell rushed for 98-yards and a touchdown in the win

Bemidji State 41

--Bemidji rushed for 437 yards and six touchdowns in the win over the Mustangs, marking the schools most rushing yards in a single game since 1989.
--Dustin Kroeplein rushed 19 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
