Twenty FiveThings in CommonWhat Might Have BeenPitch and CatchStriving for Balance

2 to 1. The UWF offense averages about double the passing yards per rushing yardage per game while the Lions favor their passing game almost three-to-one, averaging just 94.7 yards per game on the ground.

Having a productive running game is what keeps defenses off-balance against the Argo passing attack. Last week, UWF switched it up a bit by powering through much of the first three quarters on the ground. Running back Chris Schwarz had 141 yards rushing at halftime as the Blue and Green finished the game with more on the ground than through the air.

The Lions defense holds teams to an average of just 16 points per game. If UWF is to win the game, it will be incumbent on them to establish the run and then go downfield to loosen things up a bit. They did this last week and it worked well but was a series or two late, in my opinion. Things were looking scary for a bit in the 3rd quarter.
