I had an opportunity to speak with Arkansas Tech Head Football Coach Raymond Monica about ATU Football and the upcoming season. Below is a transcript of our conversation. [Editorial note: Parts of this interview were edited to preserve the flow of the conversation.]

Armo: Coach Monica, thanks for taking time out of your schedule to speak with me today about Arkansas Tech Football.

Coach Monica: Thank you very much for having me.

Armo: What changes, if any, can Wonder Boys fans expect this year with the offense?

Armo: You have a few returning offensive lineman with significant game experience, could you talk a bit about how that helps your new starting quarterback going into the season?

Armo: Going back to the experience you mentioned earlier. In particular, on that defensive side you have returning Linebackers Logan Genz and Wesley McKinney. What does it mean for your defense to have all that experience returning as you head into the upcoming season?

Armo: You guys open a little early this year on September 4th, which is a Thursday night game at home against Northwestern Oklahoma. Talk about what that does for you, not just being able to open at home, but in terms of your preparation.
