HSU just came off of giving SNU a drubbing, while Nicholls State (NSU)came off of the receiving end of a drubbing by Arkansas. Last year NSU struggled with ATU, only winning by 10. HSU has the offensive talent to pull off the upset and you can bet they will not be intimidated by NSU. Home field advantage and the idea of losing to D2 opponent at home is the likely difference in motivating NSU to pull out a squeaker.

Southern Nazerene at Ouachita Baptist - September 13th at 6pm CT
The official opening and dedication of Cliff Harris Stadium will help OBU to kick off the season as they host SNU. Tiger fans will finally get their chance to see Kiehl Frazier and company in action. While the Crimson Storm did manage a respectable offensive output of yardage last week, especially through the air, the o-line needs to do a better job of protecting Mauro. Expect another rough week for SNU.

Background:
Both teams are coming off of victories in games that went down to the wire. Since the GAC began play in 2011, SAU leads the series 2-1. ECU won the first game 49-6, but SAU has won the last two by an average margin of 26.5 points. Both teams are fighting to start the season 2-0.
