Here is a summary of all the known coaching news at the head coach, coordinator and position levels within the GAC.

Arkansas-MonticelloArkansas Tech
Brent Dearmon was hired as the new Offensive Coordinator, replacing Dan Lounsbury. Dearmon came from Auburn where he worked with the running backs and wide receivers.

Aairon Savage was hired as the new Defensive Backs coach, replacing Paige Anders who left for Ouachita Baptist.


East Central
Defensive Coordinator Randy Pippin left to take a job at Alabama-Birmingham. D-line Coach Chad Roark was promoted to Defensive Coordinator. Jihad Wright was hired from Oklahoma Panhandle to coach the Defensive Backs.


Harding
Brad Parker was hired as the new Strength & Conditioning Coach. Parker will also assist in coaching the offensive line.


Henderson State
Mike Volarvich the Offensive Coordinator since 2010 left to take the Head Coaching position at Nashville (AR) High School. No word yet on a possible replacement.

Jeff McInerney (Defensive Line Coach) and Matt Gordon (Defensive Backs Coach) were made Co-Defensive Coordinators.

Update: Head Coach Scott Maxfield will call the offensive plays this year.

Update (8/6/15): Wide Receivers Coach Robert Espinoza has taken a head coaching job at a high school in Houston, TX.


Northwestern Oklahoma
Matt Walters was hired as the new Head Coach replacing Alan Hall who had stepped down mid-season due to health issues. Matt Walters was the Offensive Coordinator at Emporia State in the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA).

Dustin Hada was hired as the new Offensive Line Coach. He came from Southwestern Oklahoma where he had been Offensive Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator.

Corey Sullivan was hired as the new Defensive Backs Coach and Special Teams Coach. He was the Linebackers Coach at Emporia State in the MIAA.

Dan Lemke was retained as the Defensive Coordinator and the Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Update: Anthony Weeden (Wide Receivers Coach) has left to take the same position at Missouri Southern in the MIAA. No word yet on a possible replacement.

Update (8/18/15): Dustin Hada is no longer the Offensive Line coach. Ben McKaig has been hired as the new Offensive Line Coach. Dan Lemke has added the title of Assistant Head Coach.


Oklahoma Baptist

Bradley Thomas has been hired as the offensive coordinator. He comes from Northeastern State (Oklahoma) in the MIAA and replaces Jeff Brickman who has taken a position with Southmoore High School.

Update (8/13/15): Per source, Walter Boyd is staying on as the d-line coach.


Ouachita Baptist
Paige Anders left Arkansas Tech where he was Defensive Back Coach. He is the new Co-Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach.


Southern ArkansasUpdate: Defensive Line Coach Cordell Upshaw has left to join the staff at Southeastern Louisiana (D1-FCS). No word on a replacement.


Southern Nazarene
Head coach Mike Cochran has resigned. Official announcement will be made later regarding an interim coach.

Update: Defensive Coordinator Craig Hubbard has been named interim head coach for the 2015 season. According to the release, SNU will begin searching for a new head coach later this summer.

Updates (8/4/15): David Carr has been hired as the Tight Ends Coach.Defensive Line Coach Cedric Jones has resigned, no word on a replacement yet.

Update: Per source, Walter Boyd has been hired as the new Defensive Line Coach. He was hired away from rival Oklahoma Baptist.

Update (8/13/15): Per source, Walter Boyd will not be the d-line coach.


Southeastern Oklahoma
Adrian Haywood has been hired as the new Defensive Line Coach, he comes from Navarro College (JUCO).


Southwestern Oklahoma
Justin Iske was hired as the new Offensive Line Coach from Fort Hays State in the MIAA. He replaced Dustin Hada who was let go after the end of the season.

Jon Garfield was promoted to full-time status as Wide Receivers Coach.

Update: After releasing Co-offensive Coordinators Dustin Hada (also offensive line coach/run game coordinator) and Steve Day (also quarterbacks coach/pass game coordinator) at the end of the 2014 season, Head Coach Dan Cocannouer has decided to take over the offensive play calling.
