Here is a list of player updates, since the preview, heading into week 1 GAC football action. All info was provided by the schools:

UAM: Hunter Leppert has returned and will be the starting quarterback.

ATU: UAB transfer Arsenio Favor won the starting quarterback role.

HU: 2-year starting linebacker Jordan Cantrell is no longer playing due to injury. Benjamin Shields or Chris Sarkissian will get the start. Will be a game time decision.

NWOSU: Zachry Doyle won the starting role at running back. Starting quarterback, between Reid Miller and Ty Hooper, will be a game time decision.

OKBU: Blake Woodard has won the starting quarterback role. Running backs Jordan Barnes and Dawson Myers are out with injuries. Jacob Ellis will be the starting running back and Isaiah Mallory will rotate in as the rest back this Saturday.

SAU: Barrett Renner has won the starting quarterback role.

SNU: James Mauro has won the starting quarterback role and Terence Olds has won the starting running back role.

SWOSU: Karltrell Henderson won the starting role at running back. The starting quarterback, between Marc Evans and Brooks Robertson, will be a game time decision.
