East Central v. Henderson State---7pmSaturday, September 12, 2015
Southern Nazarene v. Harding---6pm

Oklahoma Baptist v. Arkansas Tech---6pmArkansas-Monticello v. Southwestern Oklahoma---6pm
Arkansas-Monticello had a 17-0 lead last week going into the second quarter before the wheels came off. Five turnovers, coupled with 28 points off of those turnovers, along with uncharacteristically giving up 379 passing yards and the Boll Weevils found themselves on the losing end in their home opener.

Southwestern Oklahoma definitely showed improvement in the offense by racking up 331 total yards and not having to rely on the defense to score the majority of their points. The Bulldogs certainly took advantage of opportunities, especially when compared to last year. They also showed they have the ability to strike down field, they just need more consistency.

Both teams committed turnovers last week that cost them. The difference seemed to be the Boll Weevils committed numerous ones that were turned into points while the Bulldogs committed ones at critical moments that killed their momentum. Both teams will have to clean it up or this could turn into a slop fest. Arkansas-Monticello has struggled on the road, while Southwestern Oklahoma has usually been strong at home. With the game in Weatherford, the Bulldogs have the advantage.
