Three of the five one-loss teams fell this past week. It was pre-ordained that at least two would fall given the Ouachita-Tech and Henderson-Harding matchups. The shocker was East Central falling to Southwestern Oklahoma. As things currently stand in the GAC, Henderson and Arkansas Tech control their own destinies concerning post-season play. As long as they each win out they will be playing somewhere, playoffs or a bowl game. While East Central, Harding, Ouachita, and Southern Arkansas are theoretically not eliminated from the post-season (think bowl games), each of them have to win out and then they each need a little help along the way.

Note: all times are Central.

Oklahoma Baptist (1-5) at Northwestern Oklahoma (2-4)---2pm

Southern Nazarene (0-6) at Southwestern Oklahoma (3-3)---2pm

Southern Nazarene reverted back to form this past week after playing so well the previous week against Southern Arkansas. The positive news, the Crimson Storm did not turn the ball over. Southwestern Oklahoma scored their second big upset at home this season knocking off East Central 38-31. The Bulldogs got back on track by racking up 527 yards of total offense, not turning the ball over, making big plays and scoring every time they were in the red zone. Expect a great effort by Southern Nazarene, but Southwestern is tough to beat in Weatherford, even for top teams in the GAC.

Harding (4-2) at Southeastern Oklahoma (3-3)---2pm

Ouachita Baptist (4-2) at Southern Arkansas (4-2)---2pm El Dorado, Arkansas

Henderson State (5-1) at Arkansas-Monticello (1-5)---3pm

Game to Watch
Arkansas Tech (5-1) at East Central (4-2)---6pm
Arkansas Tech scored a big upset in their dominating 30-12 win over Ouachita. The Wonder Boys did it with a combination of rushing for 374 yards, forcing Ouachita to try and beat them with the pass game, holding the Tigers run game to just 71 yards rushing, and taking advantage of winning the turnover battle to the tune of scoring 14 points off those turnovers. East Central found themselves in a back and forth battle with Southwestern Oklahoma last week. Southwestern struck first, but East Central responded and took the lead. The Tigers had a 31-24 lead going into the fourth quarter before the Bulldogs scored 14 unanswered points downing East Central 38-31. East Central, in a rarity this year, was outgained by Southwestern Oklahoma by 127 yards.
