Note: all times are Central

Henderson State (8-1) at Oklahoma Baptist (2-7)---12pm
Henderson had the game against Southern Nazarene in hand early on. The game was over midway through the second quarter when the score was 42-0 in route to a 76-7 win. Oklahoma Baptist was down 21-0 against Ouachita. The Bison fought back and were only down 28-20 late in the 3rd quarter, before losing 31-20. I would expect Oklahoma Baptist to give Henderson a run for their money, for a while. The Reddies should be able to pull away sometime in the second half.

Ouachita Baptist (6-3) at Southern Nazarene (0-9)---1:30pm
Ouachita jumped out 21-0 on Oklahoma Baptist before the Bison stormed back. It took a field goal in the last third of the fourth quarter to give the Tigers a 2 score lead and seal the 31-20 win. Southern Nazarene played hard, but were overmatched by Henderson losing 76-7. Like Henderson, Ouachita will be just too much for Southern Nazarene.

Southwestern Oklahoma (6-3) at Arkansas Tech (7-2)---2pm

Northwestern Oklahoma (3-6) at Harding (6-3)---2pm
Northwestern Oklahoma found themselves down 32-7 at halftime. The closest the Rangers got to the Wonder Boys was 39-21. They failed to convert their red zone chances going only 2 of 4 on their chances. Harding failed to execute their offense consistently, kicked field goals when they should have been scoring touchdowns and committed turnovers that led to a Southwestern touchdown in their 21-13 lost to Southwestern Oklahoma. The good news for Bisons fans, the defense made stops when they needed, kept the team in the game and gave them a chance to win. Northwestern will bring their high flying aerial offense into Searcy to take on Harding. The Rangers have struggled to stop good running attacks this year. Harding is coming off a loss that ended any hopes for making the playoffs and they are playing their last game at home this season. I expect Harding to roll in this one.

East Central (6-3) at Southern Arkansas (5-4)---2pm
East Central had a 21-3 lead on Arkansas-Monticello early in the 4th

Southeastern Oklahoma (4-5) at Arkansas-Monticello (1-8)---3pm
Southeastern Oklahoma had a 28-0 lead going into the 4thth quarter and stormed back to make it a 21-18 ball game with around 2:20 left in the game. A 51-yard field goal attempt with 6-seconds left fell short and sealed the loss for the Boll Weevils. Monticello will play tough at home, but Southeastern seems to be hitting their stride the past few weeks. I like Southeastern in this one.

Last week: 5-1
