Week three brings us the first divisional action of the young season. There are some very interesting match ups and I might surprise you with my choice for Game of the Week.

Who could forget the dramatic conclusion to this match up last November? Lock Haven finally ended their five year losing streak with a 15-7 win in the season finale at Hubert Jack Stadium. The fans rushed the field in jubilation and the students tore down the goal posts. Odd that after 2 weeks and a single crossover game, I have a strong feeling that the state game will be IUP/SRU/CALU vs BU/ESU/WCU. The gap between these 6 and the remaining 10 teams seems so wide that I feel confident in saying that after week 6-IUP/SRU and ESU/WCU- we will pretty much know who will be playing in the state game with 5 weeks to go in the season.
