Below are some of my thoughts on the SR1 playoff picture. Before I get into it, I want to stress that I am the PSAC blogger so I am evaluating this from a PSAC perspective. When I talk about best case scenarios, I mean best case for the PSAC in terms of how many teams are invited or where they will be seeded. Obviously, PSAC fans are hoping that three teams make it. Personally, I just want the six best teams to be in, but I also do believe that the three PSAC teams in contention are definitely in that top six and I want to see all of them in the post season.
Recapping Last WeekAs things stand today
The PSAC contenders for the post season are down to Bloomsburg, Slippery Rock and West Chester. Obviously, one of the three teams will take a loss this Saturday (it could be two if West Chester falters). The winner of the championship game will be in the playoffs solidly and will likely be seeded anywhere from first to third, depending on other outcomes. The loser could be on the bubble, and West Chester might not be a lock even if they win this Saturday (more on that later).

#3Chuck Bitner commented11-13-2013, 01:55 PMEditing a commentIt's a matter of perspective. WSSU losing would be good the PSAC Champion, but not so good for the PSAC runner up or West Chester. WSSU losing would also be good for the CIAA since it would increase the chances of two teams getting in, but I don't think I could convince the Ram fans of that!
