Bloomsburg Huskies
2013 Record: 10-2 (6-1) PSAC Champions, NCAA Playoffs
Head Coach: Paul Darragh (10-2, 2nd year)
Defensive Coordinator: Chet Henicle
Offensive Coordinator: Brian McBryan
Top returning players: LB Justin Shirk, QB Tim Kelly, OT Dakota Hoagland, DB DJ Robinson, DB Gary Postel
The upside: The defense should be solid again. Several starters return as well as two D ends that missed all of 2013 with injuries.
The downside: For the second straight year, the Huskies enter the season with very little experience at the receiver position.
Outlook
Clearly, there are some big holes to fill. But don't count the Huskies out of it. If any program can reload and stay at the same level, it is Bloomsburg. The program has won no fewer than 7 games for 15 straight seasons. Only Northwest Missouri has a longer streak of 7 win season. Since 2005, the Huskies have had six 10 win seasons. They've been in this situation before, and the staff in place knows how to replace talent.

#2Chuck Bitner commented08-29-2014, 06:39 AMEditing a commentI don't have a feel yet for what Mateo's role will be. We was away for a year and in his absence, Munger and Parsnik played very well. So he has earn his way back into the huddle. That said, he is one of the most talented and experienced backs that will be in the PSAC this year.
