First Quarter
1. Slippery Rock (3-0, 2-0) 2. Gannon (3-0, 2-0)3. West Chester (3-0, 2-0)4. Bloomsburg (3-0, 2-0)Second Quarter
5. California (2-1, 1-1)6. Shippensburg (2-1, 1-1)
7. East Stroudsburg (2-1, 1-1)
First quarter results: Defeated LIU Post, Lost to Slippery Rock, defeated Edinboro
The good news: They gutted out two close, competitive games on the road, one of them involving a very impressive second half rally.
The bad news: They were totally dismantled at home in the conference opener. Granted, the loss occurred at the hands of the current #1 team in my rankings, but it was still a very tough loss.
Three of the next four games are very winnable, but to stay in the hunt, the Warriors really need to beat Shippensburg on October 4th. They will have to step it up defensively to win that game. Matt Soltes and the offense have the firepower to win a shoot out (especially if Ship is still banged up on defense) but they will have to able to force some stops.
8. Clarion (2-1, 2-0)Third Quarter
9. Kutztown (1-2, 1-1)
10. IUP (2-1, 1-1)
11. Edinboro (0-3, 0-2)12. Mercyhurst (0-3, 0-2)Fourth Quarter
13. Seton Hill (1-2, 1-1)14. Millersville (0-3, 0-2)15. Lock Haven (0-3, 0-2)16. Cheyney (0-3, 0-2)[email protected]

#2Chuck Bitner commented09-23-2014, 11:08 AMEditing a commentI agree with you, but the teams that have played the toughest schedules are 0-3 or 1-2. We're only three games in, so there will be a lot of movement in these rankings as the season goes on.
