The Final Word
The coaches picked this team to finish third, which is reasonable based on what they accomplished last year. I'm picking them to come home fifth because of a few unknowns on defense and the very difficult schedule. But the Lakers will be a good team in 2015. I feel pretty confident about that. The question is, how quickly will they become a good team? The schedule does not allow for a slow start. With crossovers not impacting divisional standings this year, it will be possible to overcome a sluggish start and still be in contention for the championship game, but to be a post season contender, they have to beat Bentley and at least split with West Chester and Bloomsburg. Then the real fun begins with the PSAC West schedule.
