The Final Word
There are a few areas of concern across the lineup, but there are also many reasons to be optimistic. The Bears were not far away from being a 7 or 8 win team a year ago and I think they will be better in year two under Jim Clements.. I think most of the PSAC East teams are going to have some growing pains this year and Kutztown could be in a very good position to capitalize. They have a lot of talent, particularly at the skill positions, and they have continuity in the coaching staff. Frankly, I was a little surprised Kutztown was 5th in the coaches' poll. I think they have a great opportunity to be in the top 3, especially if line play gets stronger as the year goes on. If we were playing by last year's rules where cross over games counted in the standings, I might think differently about where to rank them, but I think they can do better than 5th place. I like their chances in 2015.
