National Stat Leaders

That was just quick review of SAC players currently in the top 20 of individual national stat categories. I will apologize in advance if I missed any.

After four weeks here is how I rank the SAC

1. Lenoir-Rhyne (3-1, 2-0)2. Newberry (2-2, 1-0)3. Carson-Newman (2-2, 1-1)4. Wingate (2-2, 0-2)5. Tusculum (2-1, 1-0)6. Mars Hill (1-3, 1-1)7. UNCP (1-1)
Its very hard to predict how the last two weeks will impact the UNCP football team. Campus life was totally disrupted at the University in preparation for and then response to Florence. The campus was closed to students for a week and a half. Classes resumed on Tuesday of this week and hopefully it brings a return to normalcy for students and staff. From a football perspective, I have no idea what to expect, but I think when Newberry comes to town Saturday night, everyone will just be happy to be there.
