In a league that has shown some parity the past couple years, Rivalry Week 2015 was a bit strange in that no upsets occurred, and pretty much all the games were decided by the end of the third quarter. The closest margin of victory was two touchdowns, making Rivalry week 2015 into something more along the lines of Just Another Day at the Office Week 2015:

MIAA STPOW Slade Nordic of PSU returned the opening kickoff for a TD to start the scoring, and the Gorillas jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. The Lions fought back to make it 21-14 with a TJ Fleeton touchdown pass in the second quarter, but that would be the last score on the day for MSSU. The Gorillas would tack on three more TDs to win the Miners Bowl comfortably.

The second installment of the NCAA Regional rankings came out on Monday, and here is how SR3 looks, along with the data used to make the rankings:

Rank Team In-reg W/L Pct D2 W/L Pct. SOS Road vs>.500 In-reg non-conf
1 NWMSU 1.000 1.000 0.475 1.000 1.000
2 Humboldt 1.000 0.875 0.566 0.750 0.800 1.000
3 Henderson 0.889 0.889 0.508 1.000 0.800
4 USF 0.889 0.889 0.492 1.000 0.800
5 ESU 0.889 0.889 0.503 0.750 0.667
6 MSU 0.889 0.889 0.502 1.000 0.833
7 Augustana 0.778 0.778 0.577 0.500 0.833
8 UCM 0.778 0.778 0.474 0.800 0.000
9 ATU 0.778 0.778 0.475 0.600 0.500
10 WOU 0.714 0.750 0.504 0.500 0.667 1.000
The MIAA still has the same three teams in the rankings, and UCM has actually moved up to #8 from #10. Each column to the right of the teams is either the primary criteria or secondary criteria. Interestingly enough, if you go strictly by the data in the table, one would have to wonder how USF is ranked above Minnesota St., and how both of them aren't ahead of ESU. The Mavericks have the better numbers in SOS and against winning teams, with all other data being equal. Similarly, you could make a case for any of the 8-10 teams being in the 8thth#6 Minnesota St. (8-1) at #4 USF (8-1)

Earlier in the year, this looked like it would be the game to decide the #1 seed in the region. Both teams lost a couple weeks ago, and now the loser of this game could possibly end up missing the playoffs altogether (I do not think this is likely, though. A lot of other things would need to happen). The winner of this game would probably jump Henderson St. in the rankings.

#7 Augustana (7-2) at Winona St. (5-4)

A dangerous game for the Vikings of Augustana, as the Warriors knocked Minnesota St. from the ranks of the unbeaten two weeks ago. A loss and the Vikings are looking at a Mineral Water Bowl berth; a win could move them ahead of the MSU/USF loser, although MSU has the head to head win.

Southwestern Oklahoma St. (6-3) at #9 Arkansas Tech (7-2)
